About Restaurant - Traiteur Toulouse

Restaurant - Traiteur Toulouse is the kind of place you stumble upon once and then keep talking about, especially if you enjoy a relaxed restaurant vibe with personality. Located at Kon. Elisabethlaan 41, 9000 Gent, Belgium, this spot blends the charm of a neighborhood restaurant with the flexibility of a modern traiteur. When I introduce Restaurant - Traiteur Toulouse to friends, I usually start with how easy it is to enjoy their food your way. Whether you feel like settling in for a comfortable dine-in experience, grabbing a quick takeaway, or ordering delivery with a no-contact option, everything feels smooth and well thought out. The atmosphere leans casual and welcoming, making it suitable for a laid-back lunch, an unplanned dinner, or even a coffee break that turns into something more. The menu is where things really open up, offering a balance that works for different tastes and moods. You’ll find alcohol, beer, and wine for those who like to unwind, along with spirits for a more indulgent moment. At the same time, coffee is always an option if you’re keeping things light. What I personally appreciate is how inclusive the offerings feel. Small plates make it easy to share, while vegan options and vegetarian options ensure everyone at the table finds something that fits. The food doesn’t try too hard to impress; instead, it focuses on flavor, comfort, and consistency, which is often what people really want. Restaurant - Traiteur Toulouse also works well for everyday dining because it adapts to your schedule rather than the other way around. You can pop in, order out, or stay a while, and it never feels awkward or rushed. From the friendly service approach to the thoughtful menu choices, everything comes together in a way that feels natural and approachable, making it a restaurant you can return to again and again without needing a special reason.

Best meal ever! Had the specials of the day, wild boar stew and lobster with Champagne which was simply perfect. Pleasant atmosphere, nice service. Highly recommend :)

A cosy place with nicely presented food, with some fixed items as well as seasonal ones on the menu. The food results were mixed, but mostly good. The vegetable lasagna was the winner. The much more expensive steak was overcooked and hard to chew. The shrimp croquettes were ok, but had a slightly unusual taste.

The dishes are amazing! We ordered the steak and fish of the day, and both did not disappoint us. You can also buy some fresh meat or pre-made dishes there, since it's also a butcher shop.

Eaten at Toddle Inn?

Tell us what you ordered and what it cost. Two or three sentences about one dish is more useful to the next person than a star rating.
